Kahn Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI 90 – a British Icon
Feb 14, 2020
The Kahn Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI 90 – Chelsea Wide Track is one of the most recognisable cars on the road and a British icon to boot.
Having barely changed since its conception, no shape is more iconic than the Land Rover Defender’s. Now, thanks to the Kahn Design touch, this mudslinging British vehicle is fast becoming a fashion icon.
Whilst Kahn Defenders are a good deal more aggressive - with bolt on arches and custom grilles, they maintain the original lines and styling, staying true to the vehicle’s roots.
Exterior
The Kahn Land Rover Defender offers durable and rugged on-off-road motoring that few can match. This Santoniri black edition probably turns as many heads as a Ferrari. It looks classic and modern and you will receive an enthusiastic response from other 4x4 enthusiasts.
Interior
It’s an interior which looks like it means business. This particular model was kitted out with front sports GTB seats and rear folding seats in quilted and perforated leather complete with Harris Tweed inserts. The luxury interior contrasts nicely with the Defender’s workhorse reputation. Additional touches include a centre glove box in quilted & perforated leather, roof handles with Harris Tweed covers and rear passenger knee protectors in Harris Tweed.
Under the hood
With electronic traction control, anti-lock brakes (ABS), an incredibly tough exterior, super-strong chassis and great towing capability, there are very few 4 wheel drives which can touch the Defender on looks or capability.
Well equipped
Did you know: the Land Rover Defender made its debut in 1948?
18 million models later it’s still going strong. Improvements to the vehicle mean on-road journeys are more comfortable but it is off-road, complete with the 1948 Kahn 8 x 16” wheels that the Land Rover Defender is a star.
The perfect combination of style and substance – the Kahn Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI 90 XSi Chelsea Wide Track commands respect!
