If you are ever presented with an opportunity to visit the Kahn Laboratories, indulge and immerse yourself in true automotive couture.

To assume the Kahn building is a car dealership would not be doing justice to the work that takes place inside. Indeed, the outside does not reflect the automotive persuasions either.

Clad in smoky blue panels with deep black tinted windows, Kahn Design has an attitude which can only be described as bespoke!

The bespoke touch can be seen as you enter the workspace. We saw a Chelsea Truck Company Defender Pickup Truck waiting to be prepped, no doubt for someone with an taste for the more luxurious side of the 4x4 market.

You become aware of the size of this Defender pickup truck in such a busy area, yet despite being one of the longest-serving trucks on the market, the Defender still looks remarkably fresh thanks to a Santoniri black paint job – complete with a Kahn Wide Arch Kit and Floating Roof - appealing to those who like their vehicles to stand out.

It seems to be a confident performer. One major advantage is that this Chelsea Truck Company Defender pickup truck has one of the best driving positions of any Defender you will ever come across.

A three spoke steering wheel is not bad to hold at all. Although the interior is not quite complete, the quality of the fit and finish seems absolutely first-rate. It really does. Every insert, panel or stitch. And there are a lot of them, adding luxury without seeming overly precious.
