Chelsea Truck Company Teams Up With Cooper Tire Europe To Exhibit At The Tire Cologne International Trade Fair

Taking place from May 29 to June 1, media colleagues and trade customers are advised, Cooper Tire Europe Marketing Director, Michiel Kramer, Cooper Tire Europe Performance ambassador and ex-F1 race-winner David Coulthard and three times FIA World Champion, Petter Solberg, now competing on Cooper tyres in the World Rallycross Championship, will also be present on May 31 to speak to visitors and press - on stand (C-070, Hall 6).
To create the Black Hawk edition, British designer Afzal Kahn went back to the drawing board, re-imagining each aspect of the classic Jeep Wrangler from the ground up.
Working with a direct supply of new vehicles from Jeep, he has created an innovative design which marries iconic American engineering with military - inspired British style.
With every component tailor-made and precisely engineered, the build quality is comparable to that of a fully coach built vehicle.
This is reflected in the recent independent assessment of the Black Hawk’s value by British trade price specialists CAP, which awarded it a 37% higher residual value than the standard Jeep Wrangler model.
Widened wheel arches at the front and rear coupled with a redesigned front bumper assembly and four slot grille give the vehicle unparalleled visual presence.
This robust style extends to details such as the crosshair exhaust system, vented Iron Man bonnet and purpose designed Kahn wheels coupled with 1941 DC Black Alloy Wheels 7.5 x 17” (Set of 4) with Cooper Discoverer STT Pro 285x70x17” tyres supplied by Cooper Tires, our official tyre supplier.
Inside the luxuriously appointed interior contrasts with the Black Hawk’s rugged appearance. Quilted front & rear GTB seats (OE trimmed front seats and GTB seats are also available), along with full bespoke dashboard and door cards, leather Transmission tunnel, quilted roll bars and grab handles ensure the vehicle is in a league of its own, and unlike anything in the market today.
As for the Range Rover Evoque X-Lander Edition – this particular vehicle was built as a fitting tribute to the world famous Paris-Dakar rally.
The rally, one of the greatest off-road race events ever held, inspired Afzal Kahn and his team of designers to create a vehicle is ready to drive through any kind of terrain.
Wide front and rear wheels, a rear bumper diffuser and an aggressive looking front and rear bumper give the SUV an intimidating look.
A new bumper and diffuser combo create a clean but athletic look and house the new centrally-mounted twin cross-hair exhaust system.
To get that Rally look Kahn Design also added a new front nostril grille and twin crosshair exhaust.
The company also worked with Cooper Tires to get those mean looking 20-inch tyres looking as Rally spec as possible.
Matched with 9x20” RS wheels in satin black, Cooper’s tyres ensure the X-Lander Edition will chew through mud and dirt.
As usual Kahn Design also bespoke the interior, this time around it’s the Herringbone black leather interior and a host of other subtle cabin upgrades.
Afzal Kahn, chief executive of Kahn Design, expects the vehicles to be snapped up quickly by discerning investors and collectors alike.
